The game changer of real organic instrumentation
It's always been an ambition to use some real strings and brass on our music and this week we did! My god what a difference it makes to hear real string parts (expertly arranged by Steve) played in the right hands. A huge thanks to (Kath Roberts & Saran Davies) it’s making a few of these tracks really special. The start of On Your Own and also The Last Time, now just feel like different songs. Especially with Louisa Revolta's Clarinet opening the track! More of that please!
Brass (Neil Doherty & Matthew Shenton) is also now the soul of I’ll Try - a raspy warm end to the album that only real brass could deliver..
